Stella Maris Vineyard is at 1200′ elevation on a hillside in southern Oregon. The fruit is harvested from a portion of the vineyard inherent of an old riverbed bottom with alluvial soils. The extremely stressed conditions of the site force the vines to work hard to ripen the fruit, thus creating highly concentrated grapes.
